Atelier Kunstnerforbundet Loft
Saturday 18 October 2025, 12:00–16:00
Gather (g)Round with Ayesha Jordan and Iyabo Kwayana welcome you to a filmmaking workshop to engage in improvisational processes that dispel the formulaic methodologies of filmmaking to invite, feel, and shape insights from one's personal, cultural, and collective memory and imagination.
Through the process of working with video, image, and sound, participants begin creating from the idea stage.
Iyabo Kwayana is an artist, filmmaker, Assistant Professor of Film and Media at Dartmouth College based in the US who in the past years has been developing the Solidarity Camera Project – a film-based international education project. Initiated by artist, performer, and community weaver Ayesha Jordan as part of the Peer Review participatory platform for cultural analysis and the group's long-term collaboration with Atelier Kunstnerforbundet, this workshop is one of the many iterations of Kwayana's project.
